What a pleasure it was to have so many of you join us for Christmas dinner at our house. Matt, to see your progress, in person, is amazing. Enjoy the rest of your visit with family. we love you all!
I still continue to log on and read your webpage. Your story is an awesome testimony to God's grace and mercy. Bless you all in '08 with much love, peace and joy. You have no idea how many lives you have touched.
It's been a long time, but this is Mitch O'Reilly from Olathe North and St. Paul's. We ran cross country together among other things. My mom showed me your story that ran in the Leaven a while ago, I didn't know what to say then.
I remember you and Jonathon Kinkade (you still stay in touch?) running circles around me and all the while being perplexed at how Jon could smoke and still be so fast lol. I remember watching and being amazed as you practiced on your skateboard. It may have been a while ago, but I'm glad to see that your spirit and who you are hasn't changed! Its easy to see that you still have your sense of humor, optimism, and love of family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will forever be proud to know such a quality outstanding individual! God bless
Matt was born in Seoul, South Korea, and adopted by his parents, Gary and Barbara, when he was 10 months old. He grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Olathe North High School. Matt has two beautiful daughters, Taena and Jaelen.
